An exhibition featuring art photography by young local people aged 13-19

Opening Event; Friday 6th September 6.00pm-7.30pm – introductory talk by Phil Barrington at 6.30pm. All welcome. Refreshments & bonhomie guaranteed.

This WILL be the main regional Modern Arts event to see this year.

This exhibition of modern art photography of all creative styles will shock, disturb, challenge and enlighten you with the candid, raw and personal visions of young people exploring their lives and feelings through the use of any kind of camera in their possession, without rules, restrain, nor any real regard for convention or tradition.

A stunning culmination of a summer of fine art photography tuition and tasks set by artist Phil Barrington and the Norfolk County Council, this gallery show of young people’s work is beyond Instagram, beyond Facebook ‘selfies’, and beyond your expectations; this is Art Photography Now.

Art Photography Now [APNv1] Course for young people, by Phil Barrington

I was very privileged to have been approached by the Norfolk County Council to run a summer-long course this year for local young people aged 13-19 who are interested in experimental art-based photography, a course which I titled; Art Photography Now [APN].

Art Photography Now – Fully Booked

It is my pleasure to say that the ‘Art Photography Now’ course I am tutoring, starting Saturday 20th July for young people aged 13-19, is NOW FULLY BOOKED.

All attendees should have now received booking confirmations, I look forward to seeing all who attend, and I can’t wait to see the resulting photography experiments they’ll all be taking over the summer.
